Training

Strengthening Leadership
Leadership is demanding work. It requires maintaining an overview, making the right decisions, communicating effectively, and at times also withstanding considerable headwinds. Our inhouse training program “Strengthening Leadership” helps you develop the personal capabilities needed for these challenges while simultaneously improving your leadership system.

Implementing Strategy
“It’s not difficult to define a strategy,” the managing director of a mid-sized company once remarked, “as long as you don’t have to think about how exactly to implement it.” In this training, you will learn how to achieve consistent execution and broad commitment from your key players.

The Potentials of Conflict
“Conflicts have an exceptionally bad reputation,” our colleague Fritz B. Simon once remarked. Yet, on closer examination, conflicts do not only create problems — they also contain enormous potential for solutions and development. Our workshop shows you how to consciously recognize this potential and use it as a valuable resource for growth and change.
Leadership is demanding work. It requires maintaining an overview, making the right decisions, communicating effectively, and at times also withstanding considerable headwinds. Our training program “Strengthening Leadership”helps you develop the personal competencies needed for these challenges while simultaneously improving the leadership culture within your organization.
To align our training program as closely as possible with individual development goals and organizational improvement needs, we begin with a comprehensive clarification process: What objectives are being pursued? Who should participate in the program? What experience do the participants bring with them? What are the framework conditions? And how do we ensure from the very beginning that what is learned during the training can be effectively transferred into everyday work?
To provide tailored support, we have developed a modular system of building blocks that can be combined differently depending on the specific starting situation and objectives. These building blocks include:
1.) Careful Preparation
During this phase, we:
Clarify the exact requirements of the training program, the participants, and their work contexts;
Prepare an initial proposal outlining all organizational, content-related, and methodological cornerstones of the planned development process;
Thoroughly review these cornerstones together with the clients and establish guiding agreements regarding framework conditions and content;
Bundle the agreed content into effective modules, elaborate them in detail, and refine them further together with the clients;
Send all essential preliminary information and, where appropriate, preparatory assignments to all participants.
2.) Delivery of the Agreed Training Measures
Depending on the target group, this may take different forms. Examples include:
A Foundation Module in which all essential fundamentals for successful leadership are addressed — from leadership principles and guiding values to core leadership responsibilities and the state-of-the-art methods used to fulfill them.
Several Advanced Modules from which participants can choose according to their interests and development needs. Possible topics include self-leadership, team leadership, diversity, decision-making, communication formats, conflict management, project management, or change management.
3.) Individual Transfer and Regular Reflection
To support sustainable implementation, the following measures may be included:
Feedback loops with participants during the program, at the end of each module, or after a certain period of time — potentially combined with preparation for the next module;
At least one concrete improvement initiative per module, developed using a structured guideline;
So-called leadership buddies who mutually support one another in applying what they have learned in their day-to-day leadership practice;
Peer consultation in smaller groups that regularly work through challenging leadership situations together;
Personal evaluation of the respective improvement initiatives (in writing and/or during the following module);
A digital treasure chest containing all methods used in the modules, along with additional alternative methods intended to provide further inspiration;
A comprehensive final discussion with the clients in which we evaluate the implemented improvement measures and also take a forward-looking perspective on the future of strengthening leadership.

Strategy development is often regarded as the supreme discipline of management. However, the traditional approach — developing a detailed strategy behind closed doors for one or even several years and then announcing it top-down — has become increasingly detached from reality. On the one hand, such strategies are frequently overtaken by ongoing events; on the other hand, the intended strategy often remains unclear to many employees: What exactly are we trying to achieve? Why is this important? And how does the announced strategy affect day-to-day work in concrete terms?
In our training, you will learn how to:
Focus your strategy on the most important challenges within your business environment;
Define measurable outcomes for each challenge that you aim to achieve across different time horizons;
Define concrete initiatives through which these outcomes can be pursued, while also assigning clear responsibilities;
Apply state-of-the-art visualization methods to create comprehensive transparency;
Foster interactions and collaboration that enable the right people to drive the right topics at the right time;
Cultivate regular feedback loops to evaluate both actual implementation results and the quality of collaboration;
Build the entire strategy process around a core group of experts and leaders who contribute diverse experiences and perspectives.
