Not long ago, I once again stumbled upon an artist who has always fascinated me: Ernst Jandl, who, among other things, demonstrated to an international audience “What you can do without vowels: kss,, fck, lck, sck, pss, sht." Even though his anniversary year (his 100th birthday in 2025) has already passed, my stumbling upon him revealed another historical curiosity. Namely the fun fact that exactly 13 days before I was born, Jandl’s still well worth seeing concrete sound poetry reading took place at the Royal Albert Hall (from minute 3:33 onward)
